Barton-upon-Humber, Maltkiln Road, DN18 5JT
Excellent line-up in prospect for the first Barnstormers Comedy show of 2025 in the ropemakers-turned-arts-centre on the South Bank of the Humber. As ever, a top Barnstormers Comedy MC will be on hand to introduce three more excellent acts from the UK Comedy Circuit. Tonight, they are: Teeside Storytelling Comic Fran Garrity, 'Fran is a real act to watch out for' - Narc Magazine; goofy and peculiar Stephanie Laing, 'Laing is a jovial, baby faced performer who comes across as utterly unencumbered, so it doesn’t especially feel like adult humour when it plainly is. She looks thoroughly happy to be speaking to us and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s quite a devastating technique. And thanks to her having natural comic timing and delivery, it’s funny, too’ - Chortle; and offbeat and frequently surreal Canadian Tony Law, 'Takes post-modern stand-up to a dangerously funny new level' - The Guardian
